Bike for sale - enter the scammers

The K1100LT is up for sale at £1795 in MCN. A couple of people have already enquired one of whom had a German e mail address and a French name. He offered to send a bankers draft and his shipping agent to collect the bike on behalf of his client.Immediately suspicious I rang MCN to ask if this was a familiar story. Yes was the answer. It works like this. They send a cheque for more than the asking price. It clears in to your account. The agent turns up and you give him the excess cash and the bike. A couple of days later the police turn up to ask why you have been banking stolen checks. You are out for the money and the bike.
