Sabine upgrades

A really enjoyable morning working on Sabine the Beemer.Wheels out ready for new Conti Go, King and Queen seat off and for sale as standard BMW seat on its way. Tank off so ready to wire Hot Grips and Sat Nav. Great to work on a bike I know so well. As usual with bikes that have been laid up loadsa rusted in bolts, much use of hammer and angle grinder. Some things never change.....

New battery and hot grips test

Happy days. New Odyssey battery and Oxford hot grips from stock. Battery running 13v and grips v hot. Great 👍

Sabine shakedown continues

Another shakedown ride on Sabine today. Clutch lever span still too far, wrist ache. Applied heat and bent lever with steel tube. Funny how with Ethel I just clouted it with a hammer and it went right first time. Anyway now much better. Also do not know what to expect from the Michelin tyres. So far all good but will be pleased to swap for Conti Go which worked great on Ethel
